The Connelly Hospitality House welcomes cancer patients and their caregiver(s) who travel more than 50 miles to receive cancer treatment in Farmington, NM.

Families of those hospitalized with a traumatic injury or medical emergency and who meet the distance requirement are also welcomed when rooms are available.

Connelly Hospitality House offers:

•    Eight private bedrooms with private baths

•    A large, fully equipped kitchen

•    A well stocked food pantry

•    Laundry facilities

•    A library

•    Common spaces with fireplaces

•    Beautifully landscaped outdoor areas

RV Parking (adjacent to Connelly Hospitality House) includes:

•    Three individual RV spaces with electricity, water and sewer access

•    Laundry facilities

To apply for lodging at Connelly Hospitality House you must:

•    Have a permanent residence that is more than 50 miles from Farmington, NM

•    Be receiving cancer treatment at San Juan Regional Cancer Center or San Juan Oncology Associates

•    Be referred by your physician, social worker or medical professional

•    Have a physician outlined treatment plan which will determine your length of stay.

•    Pre-arrange lodging by calling 505.609.2273.

History: Local residents, Jerry and Bonnie Connelly traveled to Texas when Jerry required treatment for cancer. After their stay at a patient lodging facility in Houston, they returned to Farmington with the hope of creating a hospitality house to serve the Four Corners area.

In 1991, the San Juan Medical Foundation established the Connelly Hospitality House fund through a generous bequest from the Connelly family. Connelly Hospitality House opened in February, 2000.

The Connelly Hospitality House is fully supported through volunteer efforts, individual and corporate contributions and grant funding.
