Ladies Charity Golf Classic

June 7-8, 2011

In 1997, a rewarding partnership was formed between the Ladies Charity Golf Classic and the San Juan Medical Foundation to benefit breast cancer programs, projects and services. Since that time over $100,000 has been raised to further the San Juan Medical Foundation in its mission to improve health care services in the Four Corners region. Proceeds from the early Classics funded production of a breast cancer video in the Navajo language entitled, "Breast Cancer: It Can Be Healed."

For the past several years, proceeds have benefited the Cathy Lincoln Memorial Cancer Fund. The Cathy Lincoln Fund was established with memorial gifts from Cathy’s family and friends. The fund, which became operational in October 2001, helps uninsured and underinsured women in San Juan County, New Mexico obtain cancer-related diagnostic tests and treatment. To date, the Cathy Lincoln Fund has assisted over 830 women. The 2010 Ladies Charity Golf Classic raised more than $17,000 for this fund.

The Ladies Charity Golf Classic Committee is gearing up for the 2011 Ladies Charity Golf Classic, which will be held on June 7 & 8, 2011. Corporate sponsors, golfers and volunteers are needed for this fun-filled day of golf.
