GET PINKED San Juan County

The San Juan Medical Foundation, San Juan County, Majestic Media and the Tri City Tribune are partnering in a county-wide campaign during October 2011 called “Get Pinked San Juan County.” The campaign is an opportunity for local schools / businesses to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer in San Juan County, New Mexico. Proceeds will benefit the Cathy Lincoln Memorial Cancer Fund, a project of the San Juan Medical Foundation that assists San Juan County women with diagnostic testing and treatment for cancer.

 To kick off the campaign, Majestic Media and the Tri City Tribune are hosting a huge “Get Pinked San Juan County Gala” on October 1st, on the grounds of the Farmington Museum. The mayors' wives of Farmington and Bloomfield, Cindy Roberts and Tonya Eckstein, and the Mayor of Aztec, Sally Burbridge, are chairing the campaign. Local businesses and high schools are being asked to conduct awareness and fundraising projects during October to benefit the Cathy Lincoln Fund. The Farmington Young Professionals have agreed to act as judges for the school component....and decide which school will win the Pink Ribbon Traveling Trophy for the most awareness and funds raised. The business that raises the most money will receive a full page thank you ad in the November issue of the Majestic Living Magazine and a framed print of the “2011 Get Pinked Gala” Signature Painting by artist Ann Smith entitled “Celebration.”

I hope you will be involved with "Get Pinked San Juan County" as a fundraising school / business or a $100 donor. Either way you will "Get Pinked" with a 15"X15" cling for your window and you will be listed in the PINK section of the September 30th issue of the Tri City Tribune. Your school / business will also be listed on the San Juan Medical Foundation’s website as a “Get Pinked San Juan County” business.
